Summer Youth Creative Writing Workshops
As part of our commitment to helping children and youth develop and share all of their amazing ideas, we have created a Summer Youth Writing Workshop Program!
These workshops are a safe, judgement-free space, for children and youth to come forward with their creative ideas, while we help encourage and coach them on how to turn them into words.

Our goal is empower and inspire children and youth to want to continue developing their ideas and stories and the way they communicate them. As future leaders of tomorrow, we want to help build and nurture the skills and creativity that our children and youth have - so that they can feel confident sharing their thoughts with the world!

If your child wants a stimulating and engaging environment to write independently, or work with someone on our team, or complete one of our fun writing workshop activities, we are here to help!

These workshops are available to all youth in Grades 1-12 - not just those who wish to enter the Summer Youth Writing Challenge contest!
Workshop Schedule
All workshops are hosted at The Salvation Army Strathroy - 71 Maitland Terrace, Strathroy, ON

Workshops every Tuesday and Thursday from 1pm-3pm, starting on July 9, 2024 - August 15, 2024
